Our Story

Hi, my name is Carri (I am sister Lyn) and I would like to tell you about the adventures of my best friend Teresa (Sister Marie) and I.  First, let me tell you how this all started.  Thirty some years ago, Sister Marie and I met through the church we were attending and began our sisterhood.  We did church functions together and chatted as we worked.  She was a working mom with one child and I was a stay-at-home mom of two.  As time went on Sister Marie had her second child and I was looking for a part-time job.  Sooooooo.........I started babysitting for her children!  I now had my two (ages 6 and 4) and her two (ages 2 and infant).  The children grew and so did the friendship, but not only that!  People started to get the two of us confused and after awhile it was just easier to answer the "Teresa questions" for me and the "Carri questions" for Teresa.  

Fast forward through the years and many, many changes for both of us.  She and I were still growing our sisterhood and people were starting to ask us if we were sisters.  One group we were involved with would ask, "where's your sister?" when we would show up without the other.  And at one point,  one person in the group said that we were probably sisters (biologically), sisters (nuns) in a previous life.  We got a chuckle out that and it stuck.  Later we discovered the ceramic figurines you see in the picture above.  If you know us, you will know which of the two of us is the naughty sister and which one is the nice!

We each displayed a nun figurine within our own home for a few years and then we got the idea to take them on our adventures with us.  And that is how the Sister, Sisters adventures were born! 

I started this blog to fill you in on our and "their" adventures!  What we see, do, feel, where we stay, why and how we choose what we do and more.
